The biggest event in Hollywood may be over, but everyone’s still talking about it! I still can’t get over the fact that I was on the red carpet, shoulder to shoulder with some of the most recognizable faces in the business — someone pinch me already, seriously.

Like I had mentioned before, I started prepping for the Oscars months in advance, and the day of the award show was insane! I started out the morning doing two of my favorite things: my morning skincare routine and spending time with my beautiful daughter, Collette! On days like that when I know I’m going to be running around like a madwoman, it’s calming to stick to my normal routine as much as possible.

Once I got to the red carpet, I ran into former The Hills star and all around super-mom Kristen Cavallari and got to catch up with her, which was so great! She’s seriously one of my favorite people — I don’t know how she juggles it all with THREE kids!

And while walking the red carpet seems like it’s all glitz and glamour, I have to let you in on a little secret — it’s crazy hectic! I had to sprint from the carpet to an interview with Elle, back home to squeeze in as much time as I could with Collette, and change outfits for the Elton John viewing party my husband and I attended.
