Best Apps to Save You Time & Energy

| Entrepreneur

Thank God for apps. I swear I don’t even remember what life was like before smartphones existed. There are so many apps that make my life easier. So I’m sharing my top five favorite apps that I use every day.

1. Baby +

Baby + is an app I’ve been using since the birth of my son. It’s a baby development tracker. It tells you what to expect your kids to do at their current age. It helps you plan everything from what toys to play with to what you should be doing as a parent. You can also track feedings, weight, height and everything else in between. This is a great app for new moms who are doing it for the first time.

2. Mealime

Mealime is a meal-planning app that helps you cook something healthy without spending five hours doing it. As a super busy mother on the go, I love it. Just between you and me, I’m the worst cook ever. Cooking gives me anxiety, so I always need simple meal ideas that won’t have me get a panic attack. Mealime even makes grocery shopping easier and more organized. And most of its meals take 30 minutes or less to make. You can fine-tune the app by telling it what you like to eat and what you dislike, or what your current diet plan is. This app is magic for people like me who hate to cook but need to feed a family.

3. Canva

My career lives online. I depend on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and all other social media platforms to make a living. So I need my posts to always look picture perfect. A great way to make great graphics is by using Canva. I am so obsessed with this app. It’s a new app that helps you design posters, banners, invitations and all manner of other graphics. I use it daily for my content.

4. Calm

Calm is an amazing app that’s great for a momtrepreneur like myself who needs to calm down. This app is a great way to get rid of stress and anxiety through guided meditations, sleep stories and all types of breathing programs. You can do guided meditations from five to 20 minutes.

5. Flipboard

I love to read, and it’s important to me to know what’s going on in the world. But I don’t have time to chase websites to get the news. Flipboard is useful news aggregator that lets users pick the sorts of articles they like to read. Based on your preferences, you can also get content recommendations from the app. What’s great about Flipboard is that it not only collects all the content you want into one convenient app, but it also lets you join an ever-growing community of like-minded individuals.

What apps do you use? Leave comments because I would love to know!
