Today is such an emotional day for me. Collette turns 2 and I couldn’t be more proud of her.

Of coarse I am almost 9 months pregnant so I am super emotional as it is…but I can’t believe how Collette has become such a smart, beautiful, charismatic girl. It feels like yesterday I was holding her in the hospital and cradling her to sleep. Wait up…I am still cradling her to sleep like a baby…lol I guess somethings are still the same.

All jokes aside, Collette has been the best thing that has ever happened to me and I am so grateful to have her in my life every single day. She has taught me to have patience, work harder so I can build a better future for her and just love unconditionally. Every morning when she wakes up, Collette is so excited…she reminds me that I need to be the same way. Wake up every morning excited to conquer the day. She never wakes up angry or in a bad mood. She’s always excited which is a great testament on how us adults should wake up each morning and live our lives. EXCITED TO BE ALIVE!

For her second birthday, I decided to do a small party with our close family and friends at our home. I went with the unicorn theme since unicorns represent purity and magic. I love the quote, “those who never believe in magic…will never find it.” I want Collette to believe in her dreams and always know that she can be anything she wants to be in life.
