It’s that time of year again! And I’m not just talking about the start of longer days, beautiful weather, and lots of sunshine — I’m talking about the start of festival season! And unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard of Coachella, the music and arts festival held in Indio, California every April for two consecutive weekends. Not only are some of today’s top musicians and artists performing this year, some of the hottest spring and summer fashion trends will be seen and honestly, I can’t wait!
Check out some of this year’s fashion must-haves for the festival below.
CK Bodysuit
I cannot tell you guys enough how much I absolutely LOVE my CK bodysuit by PacSun. Bodysuits are great for festivals because they’re sexy, effortless, and versatile! You can throw on a pair of high-waisted shorts or a maxi skirt over it and you’ve got that perfect laid back, effortless it-girl look in seconds. This bodysuit won’t break the bank, either; it’s only $39.00!
Denim Jacket
Even though it can get pretty hot during the day, an over-sized, denim jacket is perfect for throwing on when the sun goes down. I LOVE my Levi’s jacket! I never go to a festival without it.
Short, Short, Shorts
There’s something so carefree, summery, and free-spirited about short shorts. Plus, in the desert heat, sometimes you want to cover up as little as possible! I swear by my trusty Levi’s for festivals. They’re so classic and iconic! Just make sure to wear a top with a little more coverage so it balances out what little fabric you’re wearing on bottom.
Swimsuit
I always bring a statement swimsuit with me to Coachella. You can wear it under your clothes, or even keep it in your purse for those spur-of-the-moment pool parties out there!
Boots
While strappy sandals might seem like the best option for a festival like Coachella, I highly recommend keeping the sandals for pool parties and wearing boots while on the festival grounds. I’m really digging these amazing Jeffrey Campbell embellished boots for this year’s festival! Grab them here.
