Denim on denim is the hottest trend you need to rock for spring. From shoes to accessories to jeans to jackets, it’s all about mixing different types of denim together.
If you could make a denim soup, then go for it. It’s about having fun with denim and wearing it like you’ve never seen before. On the runways of Paris, New York and Milan, we saw designers mixing different type of denim fabrics.
What I love most about denim is that it’s comfortable, fun and chic. Recently, I attended an event for Burberry in Los Angeles, rocking a fun denim trench coat. I have to be honest: I’ve been wearing it daily since I bought it.
I was in NYC for Beautycon and wore the trench with these fun Rebecca Minkoff wide-leg denim jeans.
I also added my Dior denim handbag to the mix, and it really made my outfit pop.
The more distressed the denim, the cooler. I recommend checking out a thrift store to find some cool vintage pieces. This trend is all about cool ’70s vibes.
Just the other day, I attended the launch of my good friend Jessica Hall’s blog launch, Sleeplessmom.com. At the launch it was crazy seeing how everyone was wearing denim. Jessica herself was wearing a cool denim jumpsuit.
What do you guys think about the denim trend? Would you rock it?
