These Were the Hottest Trends at the Met Gala

Last night, celebrities and stars alike gathered at the Met Gala to honor fashion designer Rei Kawakubo and as always, there were a TON of amazing trends we saw!

Although some stars tried to play it safe, Rihanna took a risk with her Comme des Garçons outfit and that risk definitely paid off! Obviously, this look is hard to recreate in everyday life. However, a trend that she rocked that we can ALL try at home is her sexy, strappy thigh boots. Tres chic!

Hailey Baldwin looked gorgeous in custom a Carolina Herrera Love two piece with bustier top and a puffy layered skirt.

Fashion queen Kim Kardashian wore Vivienne Westwood and I loved how clean her look was — from her makeup to her dress!

Supermodel Kendall Jenner rocked a trend we’re not used to seeing on her and was all about showing off the booty! Mary Phillips, who did her makeup, gave Kendall that classic red carpet look with bright red lips. So chic!

And can we talk about Gigi Hadid and Candice Swanpol’s AMAZING eyeliner?!

Former Disney darling Selena Gomez looked beautiful in a lingerie dress by Coach. And can we talk about that eyeshadow for a second?! Selena and her longtime friend and makeup artist, Hung Vanngo. are probably the only pair that could create a look like this work for such a magical night!

Gisele Bundchen and Blake lively both rocked beautiful, simple pony tails, which kept the focus on their incredible gowns!

Another big trend we saw at the Met Gala was the color RED! Rose Byrnes, Joan Smalls, Katy Perry, and Emma Roberts all rocked this season’s hottest color and looked absolutely incredible!

And of course, Jennifer Lopez looked stunning as always, and Emily Ratajkowski was a vision in a shimmery mermaid gown.
